Restokt is a tool you use to keep track of your own pantry. We store the information you put into it so we can show it back to you on your phone, tablet, or any other device you sign in from. We don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't build a profile on you. If you ever want to leave, you can export everything and we'll delete the rest.
Only what you type, scan, or photograph inside Restokt. That means your homestead name, your USDA zone, your batches and lots, the photos and labels you attach to them, your barcode aliases, the notes you write, and a log of quantity changes (so “what ran out when” reports work).
Plus the basics we need to run your account: your email, a hashed password or passkey credential, and — if you subscribe — a customer ID and subscription status from our payment processor. That's it.
We don't store your full card number — that's handled by Stripe and never touches our servers. We don't track your location outside of your USDA zone. We don't scan your phone for other apps. We don't log which pages you browse around the web. We don't buy data about you from anyone else.
You, on any device where you're signed in. Anyone you invite to your household through a household invite link (they sign in as you). Our hosting provider (Vercel) and our database provider (Supabase), because the data physically lives on their servers — both operate under standard industry privacy and security practices. And a payment processor (Stripe) for billing details only, when you subscribe.
That's the whole list. No advertisers. No data brokers. No analytics resold to third parties.
We use one cookie — the session cookie that keeps you signed in. We don't run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking tags. Restokt doesn't need to know what else you're doing on the internet, and we'd rather not.
Your records are always yours. You can export your pantry as a PDF report from the Settings screen at any time, regardless of whether you're on a paid plan or a trial. If you want to delete your account, the same Settings screen has a “Delete my account” option that wipes your profile, your batches, your lots, your notifications, and your billing record in one action. It's permanent and immediate.
Your account is protected by your password or your device's passkey (Face ID, Touch ID, or Windows Hello). All traffic between your phone and Restokt is encrypted over HTTPS. The database is encrypted at rest. Row-level security rules enforce that you can only read and write to your own records.
If something ever goes wrong with your data, we'll tell you directly and tell you what happened.
Restokt is intended for adults managing household food storage. It's not designed for children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
We'll update the “last reviewed” date at the top of this page. If we make a change that affects how we handle your data in a meaningful way, you'll get an in-app notice or an email before it takes effect.
Write to hello@restokt.com. A real person reads those.
